Supernatural is my complete obsession.I haven't loved a tv show this completely since the X-Files, not even Buffy.
This brother relationship is so engrossing and enthralling, Sam/Dean is my OTP.
I've found the fandom is truly amazing, so much great writing, vidding and photo-art. I've been inspired to add my own fic and newbie photoshop efforts here.
I named this Dean's Mixtape because I'm a DeanGirl and I love how they use classic rock in Supernatural. And most of that music was stuff I listened to back when it was originally on the radio, because I'm old. Like over 40 old. My greatest accomplishment lately is to get my entire family to be into Supernatural with me, including both of my teenagers and several of their friends.

Prophets are supposed to have the protection of an archangel. (Remember how Chuck the Prophet was protected by one against Lilith and Zachariah in season 4?)
But Kevin Tran didn’t get an archangel coming to his rescue.
Does that mean that all the archangels are gone?
Gabriel is dead at the hand of Lucifer (as far as we know), Michael and Lucifer are stuck in the Cage in Hell. And godCas killed Raphael.
There are three archangels named in Catholic tradition (Michael,Gabriel,Raphael), but there are seven mentioned. Other traditions have only one archangel on up to thousands. So what about in the Supernatural world?

There they sat at an ordinary kitchen table, Sam and Dean (Padalecki and Ackles, respectively) discussing recent events. While I’m not at liberty to reveal the topic of their conversation, suffice it to say that tempers were flaring. As voices raised, so to did emotions. Dean was, of course, in protective mode, while Sam did what he does best: bristled.
And then things took a most unexpected turn. Sam and Dean gazed lovingly - dare I say longingly? - into one anothers’ eyes. Standing, Dean moved closer to Sam, raising his arm and reaching out as if to touch him softly, when suddenly…
“Cut!” yelled the director. “Okay, boys, now let’s do it seriously this time,” he said, no doubt relegating any footage which might bring to life some of the more lurid fan fiction lurking on the internet to the cutting room floor. (Or, perhaps, if we’re lucky, a future DVD blooper reel!) We are Supernatural’s Silent Majority. We are fans who have trusted the show for years and are upset by what we’ve seen as a decline in quality and loss of the Sam and Dean story. We have every right to get our opinions heard.

This is a challenge to create fic and art celebrating Sam and Dean Winchester, and the bond between them. All types of stories (gen, het, slash) are welcome, and other characters can of course feature in the stories, but main focus must be on Sam & Dean.
This is a mini-big bang type challenge. Authors write a story of minimum 10,000 words, and are paired with an artist to produce art/vids/websites/soundtracks for it.
